To study the Bible properly one must have a proper method of Study. Sunday School will help hone your skills on how to study and will enrich your life on what you have learned.
Adult Sunday School meets from 9:15 AM to 10:15 AM. Our current Curriculum is the Wesley Adult Bible Studies. The studies are 13 weeks in length and will include the study of a particular book of th Bible or subject matters such as "Holy Living", "Life Changing Experiences", and "Jesus Lives".
This quarter's (June-August) lessons on leadership provide quite a variety of personalities, priorities, values, leadership styles, and abilities of the ones in command of Israel and Judah. What;s clear is that God has His own criteria for choosing people to lead in particular circumstances, and they are not human standards. He uses both strengths and weaknesses of people. He equips with giftedness and special abilities for certain tasks. even though He could get thew job done better on His own. Obviously God is concerned for more than getting the hob done. He's looking for servants who can delight in doing His will.
So, as I work through this study with you, know that I'm going to be asking myself, Do I delight in this work for the Lord? As I lead, is my heart following God's will, or my own?
